Reclaiming the Flash on a Polycom Camera
Note: The flash memory on the Polycom cameras should be reclaimed ~1/month.
The first step in reclaiming the flash is to power off the system. Looking from the front of the unit the power switch is located in the back left corner and shown in figure 1 and 2.
Hold down button located on the front just right of the camera as shown in figure 3. While the button is held power on the unit. Hold this button until a screen titled ‘Remote System Update’ appears. After that wait for the ‘Update Status’ to display ‘Flash is reclaimed’ at this point cycle power again and allow the system to startup normally.
